This state-of-the-art cone beam technology enables us to capture more detailed three-dimensional information than traditional two-dimensional orthodontic radiographs previously used (panoramic and cephalometric “x-rays”) at less than half the radiation exposure.** Patient safety and comfort are top priorities. One quick scan is completed in just 4.8 seconds, reducing the number of diagnostic images taken at our New Patient evaluation to only one, which also limits the time spent sitting in an “x-ray” machine on your first visit.

The award-winning i-CAT FLX® has an i-Collimator® that electronically adjusts the field-of-view to limit radiation only to the area of scanning interest so that our clear 3D images can be customized for each patient, depending on the amount of information required at each stage of treatment.
